Watched the feed and have a slideshow going.

It was so cute .the one at the back kept falling so I would say it is the youngest. but its mouth was always open and some bites did get in there . Not to worry. Nest feed the other two will not be as hungry and this one will get more.

It is learning how to get in front though.

I missed the shot but at one point Princess went to feed one at back  and  a piece slipped out and she leaned right over chicks with wings spread to get the tiny morsel. No wasting food at this table ;D ;D

It looks so windy down town.  I look out my windows and it doesn't look as bad.  The camera is just shaking.  Almost looks like the box is shaking.  The chicks are so cute and so small.  They keep toppling over except for the middle one.

Watching the feeding.  The little chick closest to the wall is not getting as much as the other 2.  The little one did get some food but not as much as the other two. It was a small meal.  It is over and they are all under Mom now.  I think it is Princess.

I think the video CeeBee referred to was the one SBG did yesterday of the chicks first feeding.

Tracy
Whenever I have seen other birds eggs hatch the young are usually bald the first bit. Are there other birds that hatch with down? I am always amazed how fluffy these guys are when hatched.

Just got home from work and checked in and saw a meal!   The video was wonderful.  Princess was full on with three little bobbing heads.  They all got fed and looked quite full at the end.

Speaking of down topics, I can't see from the angle of the camera if the base of the box is above the drain height.  When it is a cold rain, the parents sit hard on the kids to keep them warm, and if the water is rising, we'be been through that before.  I'm sure we can scratch up some donations for more gravel if necessary.
