That definitely was Eye-Spy and me  ;D

Decided we didn't want to cut off Mom's/Dad's heads anymore during feedings and now that the chicks are larger, we can pull back a bit and give you all more of their daily lives - Mom going out, Dad coming in, even feet on the drain!!

If TPC allow me I will try to post all the feedings I can. I also put a link on the video page back to the CBC page.

Not a problem Vortimaxx - just please put on there that its the CBC Manitoba / Shaw Falcon Cam and if you wouldn't mind adding a link to the Project's main webpage (www.species-at-risk.mb.ca/peregrines) that way folks can link to the Webcam, Forum, Blog, Online Store and background information on the Project and our peregrines.  I like to make sure that we have the same information at all our site, because folks don't always go looking (or think to look) for the rest if the links aren't immediately visible!  And its better if folks have the option of the "full falcon cam experience" don't ya think?  ;)

And we have been downloading video from the recorder at the Radisson over the last few days so hopefully I will be able to clear an evening this week to work out how they are to be displayed ... will post a link when I start to post them

Does anyone know what types of birds the peregrines have been eating?  Also where do they take the remains of the food birds?

Anything/everything pigeon-size to small duck size.  At the moment it appears to be a mix of shorebirds (sora rails) and pigeons, though I might have seen a flicker in there this morning.  Unfortunately for identification purposes, the meals arrived mostly "prepared" i.e., head off, most of the feathers gone, wings gone, legs still on these days so don't mistake them for tails folks!  I refer to pigeons as flying Kraft Dinner, easy to "make" and the kids will eat it.  But the adults actually prefer not eat anything but pigeon - shorebirds are big at the moment ...

Please excuse my spelling.  I am looking at Princess and the chicks and typing at the same time.  I am a woman I am supposed to be able to multi task.   ;)

Perfect spelling is optional here Moonstar!

Something is getting Prncess'es attention.  (I think this is Princess on the chicks).  She keeps looking around and up.  I just love watching them.  They are the cutest falcons.

Please check my question in Forum Technical Questions.
To keep on track the feedings are wonderful to watch and Trey and Princess certainly take time and care.

first, thanks Vortimax for the video - wow.
It's 4:12 and I've been enjoying watching the feeding, then watching the chick "tuck in" - amazing

oh there goes the shift, tuck wiggle again.
What amazing parents they are!  I guess they must be or the "line" wouldn't survive, still...
