Actually, I was thinking Princess looked downright soggy, poor thing. It's not easy being an umbrella.

Supposed to end early this evening, then 40% chance for the next few days. I wonder if Princess ever dreams about the Penthouse nestbox she did not choose....with a roof! :-\
**TPC - they're a bit older now, over 10 days - so if the kids get a bit wet/cool can they handle it better at this point??  ???

No question is stupid, we all have to start at some point and we all learn.

Thank you so much!  What a goof I am for not doing that.  I feel silly now.  Can I go back and erase my question!!  Just happy to have a full screen of birds.

Double click on the cam, in the window, and it should go to full screen, it refreshes every 10 mins

This may not be the right place to put this but I'm unsure where else to go and so many of you seem knowledgable that I hope someone can help.  I seem to remember last year I could have the video of the family on 'full screen'.  I can't seem to do that this year.  Am I out in left field with my thoughts or is there something I'm doing wrong or is it not an option this year.  I appreciate any help.

Poor Princess - the job of a mother never ends. Lucky for her dad is a clean freak and will take care of the mess later. For now she gets to play 'umbrella'.

Oops| The chicks are making a break for it.  One of the chicks just escaped out the back end.  Poor Princess had to gather them back up.

The last time Princess let us see the chicks they all looked great.  That white thing beside her is that big pigeon wing that the chicks have been pulling on and moving around.  Trey needs to use some of those famous housekeeping skills and remove it.  :D

I just found the time now to get online to see what is happening in Winnipeg; I almost had a heart attack when I saw the rain and poor Princess putting up with this again, like last year, and then what looked like a chick laying beside her.  I read your recent comments, so I am now reassured; thank God for the plastic box.  I just hope that things do not get any worse:  I can see that Princess is totally wet, but I gather the chicks are safe.

Yes it's a steady but light rain right now, I think the big drips we see on the camera are a bit deceptive, probably falling from the roof or something. I don't think this day will put them in danger, it'll just be a pain in the neck more than anything.  :)
