What a great way to unwind after work - a close up of the chickies. I missed dinner - but the meal induced coma is pretty cute.

They are so cute.  I can't believe how big they're getting.  It's really noticeable especially with the zoom.  The little one in front is still trying to eat what appears to be a wing.  Not having very much luck. Has decided to join his siblings instead.  They're all stretched out around the vent.

Great closeups of the babes.   One chewing on a leftover and two chewing on the drain cover. It looks like they are waiting for dinner. ;)

It really is amazing how quickly they grow and develop.  It seems such a short time ago that they were only hatchlings...

And one is already testing his wing flaps and showing the others that ripping and tearing skills aren't that bad either...nice way to end the display - flat on its face... ;D

Nice to see a close up.
Now if only the chicks would turn around and all smile for the camera and say "cheese" . . .
Oh well, got a poop shot! That will do.

Wow!!! Nice close-up! Finger lickin' good, that morsel of food is! And just look at those fledgling feathers! I haven't really seen them before now!

Beautiful close up of the chicks being fed! Thanks for that. I love the way the chick that wasn't getting any food took the whole piece of left overs for himself or herself away from the others. So now he got some for themselves!

Love the way that one little guy has propped himself up, like he's sitting in a lawn chair! ;D

good to see all three looking so fit!  maggieblue, you'll be one of us old birds pretty darn soon!   8)

I wonder if that drain cap creates a little eddy of wind that the chick is using for a/c?

One chick over by the drain loves that spot!  Also loves to have one leg stretched out! Some movement from all of them now.

No problem.  With twentysome thousand posts and 700 plus topics it can be a little daunting to keep a handle on what is going on.  ::) I think that most of us have had at least one of these moments so don't let it deter you from posting.  We have a way to go to catch up to the Old Birds.  :D
