It will help.  I find the heat is much more bearable when there is a wind.  Hope the family has found a shady, breezy nook to hang out in.

WSW 13 k -- not terribly brisk, but at least it's a bit of a breeze.

Is there at least a breeze there?  We are at 30 with the humidex but have a good wind going on.  That helps.
