good morning people. I haven't entered anything for sometime BUT I am still very fortunate to be able to see most days somebirdy up there on the West nest. Right now for that matter. Good to see them come and go. Good sightings and pictures posted. I just loved them.

I wondered when they would be leaving when I heard the geese flying over the other night. I hope they stick around for a few more warm days.
The geese won't be leaving yet...they will just be travelling back and forth to open fields for food.  Mostly from Fort Whyte to Oak Hammock, but as long as there is open water, they will stay.  BOT Alli, not sure when Trey and Princess leave...typically Princess leaves before Trey, from what I've read.  Kinda sad to know that they both will be gone which will make the phanatics go wild while we're waiting.

This afternoon, within an hour of each other both Trey and Princess came for visits.  I managed to get some great shots ... particularly of Princess grooming which I will try to post soon.  Both were hanging out in the shade on the Radisson sign.

Air quality check - quite unplanned  :o
Just sitting at home and one of the falcons flew by. Yelling and yacking, but I can't say for sure who it was. But ya all know who I think it was. ;D ;D

0850 hrs (local)

No sign of anyone on the east side of the Hotel this fair morning.  They could be off procuring brekkie (or second breakfast).  Suppose to be warm here today, mid to high 20s so I daresay both adults could yet turn up for naps in the morning sun and warmth.

DJ Stack-Up send me a photo of one of a chick (assume its one of the Radisson ones) sitting on a ledge on the back of the Investors building on the corner of Portage & Colony/Memorial.  It was taken by someone with their cellphone camera so its not very big but they (IG staffers) have promised to try to get a "better" one if and when a chick/adult returns to visit.

Went for a little walk today, no birds, but you can now see the weeds in the nestledge from the street. ::)
Trey is growing a garden for his sweet...
