Enraptured, you're absolutely right about the camouflage -- I couldn't get my eye on him at all until he stood up.

He just jumped up on the ledge -- NOW I see him!

That's how well camouflaged he was, Saoirse!  He's still in the same spot as when he was lying down, actually on the runway/ledge part with his tail pointing towards Trey's Pt. and his head just at the edge of the frame, half in sight, half not. the colour of his back blended in perfectly with that runway part of the ledge and he was very hard to see unless he moved his head.

Wonder if it is Ty or Tupper?   Impossible to really know!

When they leave now I like the way they "dive" off the ledge.
I'd give him a 9.

All things in nature are so wonderful!  What a way for Mother Nature to protect her own by making them the color of their surroundings...making them undetectable!

Saorise he is laying face to the wall right on the gray ledge edging at the south end.When you look at the cam picture it looks like the black frame of the cam picture is covering his beak!  Hope you can see him now.

Well, it seems quiet today.

Well i am sure one of my shots was of an adult. racy said that they are greyish and have the white. which this one had.
When watchng the falcons here you can tell the juvenile from the adult by the white markings.

but not going to argue about it. It was a falocn

I noticed the home Depot label right away and knew that was probably what Tracy had on hand the quickest
Just in checking again.

No kidding! I keep going back to the cam, trying to see if I can actually see him (so far I can't honestly say that I have) . . .

Forgot to mention to the watchers, but I took a U.V. reading at 1 p.m. and it was at 8. Watch the sunburn, and the eyesight.
