...Took the birdies a while to appear, but when they did, it was the whole family circling, squawking and letting the firemen know that the peregrines own the roof. ;D ;D...
Hooray for our Radisson peregrines! ;D

Yikes, stop checking the site for a few hours and miss seeing the falcons asserting Radisson ownership!  Love to have seen it.  Thanks for the reports.

It didn't fall to the street, just bent over the edge. I had a bird's-eye view from my roof, the firemen secured the tower with rope and managed to bring it back onto the roof. No one was hurt. Took the birdies a while to appear, but when they did, it was the whole family circling, squawking and letting the firemen know that the peregrines own the roof. ;D ;D
Streets are open again.

Just heard on the radio that part of an antenna fell from the roof of the Radisson and there are men up there right now. Hope they do not scare our family. Smith street is closed and police and firetrucks are on the scene. the men on doing something on the front of hotel near the West nest.

Thanks for the report.  I saw some activity/sightings occasionally (very occasionally and very briefly-as I was usually just passing through) while the fringe was on.  Started wondering when they would leave for the south.

coming to work today .... lookin at the sky per usual I saw a perigrine on the south east corner of the rogers building.  I thought to myself, okay .. you can either be early for work or you can go to the top of the parkade and take a closer look.

Needless to say I was not early for work and the young one was still sitting there when I left the parkade.

I didn't see anyone else though.

Coming to work from fledgewatch in West Winnipeg, I saw an adult on the east nest ledge and a chick trying to land there also. Parent would have none of that, and the kiddie flew around to the back of the Radisson, yelling all the way.  My money is on Princess and Kali ( isis ), big attitude from both ;D

Yes I left a message  for my neice so hoping she has not cleared the picutres. Yesterday I noticed one of the babies trying to land on the nest but missed and headed for the letter R and landed ok. approx 12.30. Hope all is well. Hate to hear more sad news about babies and strong winds.

I never even thought to look at the band......I was so excited to see the pictures. My neice has them so I can always look again. They had closed the lounge part of the restaurant so not to scare the birds thru the window, she works part time at the resaurant

If your niece's photos were taken on July 4th, chances are it was Loki.  I'm the one who asked them to close the blind in the lounge while he was hanging out on that ledge.  Please do take a second look at the photos, and please ask your niece if she would allow us to add one or some of  her photos to our photo gallery ...

Saw pictures of one of the peregrines taken thru the window of the Peregrine Room at the Raddison Hotel. Appears to be Ivy!

Could you see any bands in the photo Mother Hen?  black and silver are Ivy, black/green and purple are Princess ....

At 10.10 this morning I was on my way to Portage place and saw three of the peregrines soaring on the wind in a circle just up and south of the Rogers building.....Boy what a lovely site to be seen.
