Oh, you are sooooooo hooked Cooper  ;D ;D ;D

No, I have important work to do that sometimes takes me out of the office. If I just happen to see the falcons, well so be it.  :)

Besides, I can quit any time I want to.  ::)

1110 hrs (local) - silly boy is in the nestbox doing some cleaning ... we'll just have to see if he's a "good" as Trey!

This morning Princess is on the ledge, Ivy on the Rogers sign - looking fine!
She's having a grand old preen - not too many feet away from my window.  ;D ;D

You lucky ducks! There was no birdy making an appearance when I drove by this morning.  :(  I'll just have to do a walk-about later in the day to see who I can find. I'm sure I have to go to the bank or the post office or have some other important chore to do out of the office.

Enjoy the view!  :D

I think Pam was wrong (not unusual) and bccs was right on her first guess - got a better look and think now that it was Princess (no question that it was an adult, though!).
Aw heck Pam, we saw a birdie, who cares if it was I or P, we saw a birdie.  ;D ;D ;D

Walking home from work at about 2pm ( yup Ellie ;D ) I saw one on the second s of the Radisson sign on the east.  Looked to me like a boy but I couldn't tell if it was a juvie or Ivy.
I called Pam, she had a look through her window and said that she saw a lot of white breast and a dark cap.
So, I'm going out on a limb here and saying that I saw Ivy today.
Wow, just seeing one of them is a fabulous treat. ;D

Just when I said I had not seen the birds for a week....  looks like Ivy sitting on the JBRC sign as I came back in after lunch today.

but most telling, there is a flicker's head on the ground that was not there when I left on Friday.  The smokers from HSC like to stand in the same area (there is an hot air vent coming out of the building right there),  such a nice treat to see on a Monday morning, don't you think?

Oh birdnut, I find that so funny! I also find it funny that I think that's funny. How my attitude toward bird parts has changed!

I'm sure that in years prior to me knowing what the falcons ate, I'd have assumed that somebody's cat was out marauding and cursed the little beast; or it was some kid out with a pellet gun (the little b*gger!) and then shook my head mournfully about the fate of the poor bird. Now, with the falcons in the back of my mind, I think "Good for you! That's a good lunch!"   ;D

I have not seen the birds for a couple of days on their favorite spot at HSC campus, but they were here on the weekend.  There is lots of "whitewash" on the wall and ground below where they like to sit, but most telling, there is a flicker's head on the ground that was not there when I left on Friday.  The smokers from HSC like to stand in the same area (there is an hot air vent coming out of the building right there),  such a nice treat to see on a Monday morning, don't you think?

Somebirdy flapping around the Radisson this morning at about 7:20. Looked too small to be mom I thought. Ivy maybe. Landed on one of the s's while I watched.  :)
