  Princess is backed into the corner by her chicks. I saw them earlier and she was nesting (trying to) on them. They are growing so fast she cannot cover them. If they all stood up at the same time, she would hit her head on the ceiling. There are sooo many feathers in the nest blowing in the wind, it looks as though they had a pillow fight and the pillow broke. LOL

I know what you mean about the little old man walk.  Reminded me of Grandpa, leaning over, and hunched shoulders while shuffling along.

Oh, Barb can do that walk.....I've seen it!

It looks a lovely night, not clear, but calm and dry.  No parent on the ledge, and can't tell if one is in the box with the chicks.  Hard to believe that Princess isn't close though.

I'm with you, Moonstar - they are so adorable and so hard to stop watching!  I also agree with The Friesens - that little girl/boy looked like a little old man, walking across the front of the nestbox...

I agree with you bccs about the feedings.  The girls do tend to me more aggressive and bossy.  Mind you I don't recall Missy (Mistral) being to aggressive. She was much smaller than the rest and just so cute.
The four this year are just so adorable.  You just can't stop watching.

It looked like Princess just popped in and picked up leftovers from the from of the nestbox and began to feed the kids.  My eyes might have been deceiving me, but I don't think she brought that in...

Yep, I'm pretty sure that's what we saw on this end too.
