Sorry for not checking in - I have been very busy and lost my password, and only remembered to reset it today. But, I can say that spending a large portion of each day on campus that the falcons are around full time. The female just left the nest box about 15 minutes ago and had been there for at least an hour - she looks gigantic to me! I can also confirm that Dave and I identified a number 7 on the band of what we believed to be the female at the time, so, looking good. I have not seen more than one male at a time, and believe that I have only seen one, if a new one is in the area, he would have to be new from this weekend! Looking forward to another summer of fun!

No one was in the nestbox from 5:30 am to 6:20 am EST time this morning Bev.

we were down at the site till very late last night and I will write up something later but at 10:30pm,Radisson waz
s still on perch.  this morning at 7:00Am she is on perch. I do not know if she spent the night but this is a good sign.

I think in the last couple of days, something has happened. Peter and I were a bit leery on Sunday night when we went down.

Of course, I am hoping that something has tainted the light.  Because we are almost positive we had same male at the start. BEcasue I think I am seeing the O

things seemed a bit different Sunday night .

7:58 EST time and we have a scrape being dug in the box this morning by someone - and it's a big one!!  Someone is anticipating a full house this year

Well I didn't remember the bands and it's a 7.  I saved it to Flickr but it reduces the photo.  I will see if I have your email here at home (I have it saved at work) and send you the original.  When you blow it up you can see the 7...!!!!

I have been keeping an eye out for the last 2 days. Not having much luck getting good bands.
But the male has been in a few times today.

she has been really looking around the last while(so I am hoping everything is O.K.) I cannot go down tonight but i will have to check it out tomorrow.
Just a feeling I get sometimes

Many thanks for the updates and slideshows, Bev. It's not easy to read bands at this site.  I do hope Radisson and Damon are the pair once again this year.
