We can't see into our nest box in Brandon so I guess as the saying goes 'Ignorance is Bliss'  ;D ;D but I have seen Hurricane take out used carcasses so maybe she has Trey's clean genes :)

That appears to be a given at this site every year.
Housekeeping is a trait of Trey's that doesn't seem to be passed on to any of his kids.

All three present and accounted for at the moment - though it is getting harder and harder to differentiate chicks from debris when they are lying down. I had to watch for some time before I found one this morning.  ;D

Good luck today Bev - no drama just good karma coming your way.  The kids are up and preening this morning.  They still have a good bit of fluffies on them but we know how fast that can change!  I expect you have a couple of days yet to just relax and get yourselves back in the groove.

Well tomorrow we start our fledge watch. I will keep you posted or Peter will

Yes, I know they do not have enough flight feathers yet, but it is day 37. When planning this ,you do not know who is oldest and youngest.

I did not feel they were getting enough meals but now RAdisson is picking it up. Maybe this was her plan so they f ledge closer together.
this will also give us time to really see how this new male is doing. he is 6 years old so he should know what he is doing.and  I can see how they are being fed.

Please wish me no drama this year. a quiet year would be nice.
We are up at 4 so we can be there early.

Hugs from me and the kids. :-* :-*

So many nestboxes are a mess. I was thinking ,when I saw Manitoba's box this year, that Ivy did not pick up the cleaning gene ;D

Bahahahahahah!!!

Way to be consistent there Radisson!  Look at that nestbox!   :o
And some thought the (Winnipeg) Radisson nestbox was messy!
One of Trey's offspring and/or grandfalcons that's out there must have the cleaning gene....?

How many feedings are there lately ? has anyone kept track ? The kids don't appear to be screaming for food whenever i see them on cam and haven't heard anything when i pass by the site.
