Um, TPC you totally lost me with all that gobbledy-gook for posting pics, but I did get the part about 2nd from the left on the second row. LOL

No worries, I'm going to try to put together a tutorial BirdLover over the weekend, I'll be posting it here when its ready, so check back later on.

Those babies are sooooo cute.  I want one, Holly.  Should fit right in with my flock ( 1 Fischer's Lovebird, 1.  Peachface Lovebird, 2 Zebra Finches [1 normal, 1 white {sisters}], and Miss Idgy, the Senegal Parrot.  Oh and last but not least, Willis, the Betta fish.

Or should this be in the members pets section.  I never know.   :-\

The two in my hand are let say about 3 weeks old.  They do completely feather in by one month old.  Those are my "poster fids"  my 2nd, and 3rd babies hatched at my house...in 2007.  "Banjo and Chubby"
I use the alphabet and themes to name my babies.  It's an excellent way to keep track.  I've gone A-Z and at Q again...so that's a few babies...and lots of hand feeding.  ;)

Has anyone named the new fids on the Radisson?  What are you going to name them?
I imagine they have to mature a bit before you can tell the sexes?

Linnies definitely don't compare to the Falcons...But, I still LOVE the idea of Falconry and Hawking...that's one of those dream things I wish I could do!  but I settle for these little ones instead.  And they are NOT considered noisy....unusual...but true!

Maybe I should stick one in my shirt sleeve for the Radisson visit? (not for the falcon, but for us to gander at...since I'm so crappy at posting photos lol)
And hey feathered friends, I even took my Yorkie for a ride on the scooter yesterday, she loved it!  a little wind blown, but we were happy!  it's always something with me!

Don't be sorry, everyone has to learn and you are just about there - so don't give up!

You had the img statements in the right place and you put your URL address in the right location but you have a little extra text in your URL that screwed you up.

You had:
http://src=http://images.andale.com/f2/115/106/3550533/2007/1/26/0001.jpg

All you needed was
http://images.andale.com/f2/115/106/3550533/2007/1/26/0001.jpg

And this is what it would have looked like!

 :'(  sorry I fail to be able to do this...way to complicated...and I don't absorb very well! neither does the Oracle! lol.   and for the last 2 hours....I've done nothing else...time to actually work! lol.

If you wanna see the photo's of the linnies
My best guess would be to say...go visit "myspace"
http://www.myspace.com/birdeze
or
"facebook" - Holly Sanness

they're all in there.

You are using html code again Holly and it doesn't work here.

Just click on the img icon above (its on the second row of buttons, second from the left) then put the URL address between the two img statements.

One more time!  :D

Its okay Holly, here's a little help .... note first that I have changed [] to {} otherwise you can't see the code ...

{img}http://viewmorepics.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction-viewImage&friendID=152313713&albumID=1556975&imageID=15051427{/img}

Your problem here is that you don't have the complete filename - it needs to end with a .jpg or something similar.  Chances are just looking at the filename that you can't just copy the URL address but rather that you need to find the myspace code for linking photos to other sites.  Now I don't use/visit myspace.com, so this is just what it looks like to me.

{img}http://<img src="http://images.andale.com/f2/115/106/3550533/2007/1/26/0001.jpg"{/img}

HTML codes (i.e. <img src=) doesn't work properly on the majority of the Forum.  What you should have done is just put the URL between the {img} {/img} statements and without the quotation marks.

Here's an example of what code that works looks like:
{img}http://www.pbase.com/speciesatrisk/image/110910777/photo.jpg{/img}

Last note (and most important) - don't link photos that aren't yours, we don't know where they have come from and we don't know what may be coming with them.  Since the Forum retrieves the information to post it here, the rule is, your photos only.  And that also means that you must have a place to host them as the Forum just doesn't have that kind of space to spare.  If you want to know what is available out there in the ethernet, you can google "photo sharing websites" and it should pull up a list of free and pay-for-use photo sites.  Our folks use photobucket and pbase very successfully and I would recommend both if you are looking.

Let me know if you are still having problems ...

 ???  I'm REALLY bad at "knowing how to post an image" this way....I am so not computer friendly....nor camera savvy...I like birds....So.....
either the pics are showing or they are NOT!  LOL....give me awhile if it's not showing...I'll ask the Oracle at work for help!  D'OH
