We were down at the site last night but not much action. I am hoping to see more tonight.  when we got there we saw no one .  then we saw one at the students union building sitting on the edge of the roof ledge. we took several pictures but I am not quite sure who it was . as I said the glare form the sun distorted things. I first thought it to be Hope and then I thought Cassie. Peter thought Cassie also.

after a bit she started cacking and then flew off to the edge of campus.
we then went up on the parkade across from the Ed building and saw no one.  After looking for a bit I spotted a falcon on a crane way at the end of the campus. we have seen them there before. Not sure who but it could have been whoever was on the Students Union building.

we went for a quick coffee where we could see the Ed building. Noone showed up.
we started walking  toward the clinical science and around the front of the hospital but still no one in sight.  then just in front of the medical science building  we saw a falcon fly overhead. I twas Hope by her coloring and she landed on the crane across form the Jubilee. we went on the parkade across from the Ed building again and still no one but Hope flew off toward the area where dads building is.
It was starting to get dark and so we walked back toward dads building and there was a falcon on the aerial.  I thi8nk it was Hope.  She likes sitting there.
We saw who I believe to be mom on a ledge on the building behind dads. She has been there before.

the falcon on the aerial disappeared and as we went to our car we saw Hope tucked in on the ledge facing the street on moms building. I made this assumption because that is where she seems to spend the night.  I think we saw both juveniles separately but I cannot be sure.

I was disappointed not to see more but as Peter said they are becoming more independent so...
Hopefully more luck tonight. :) :)Pictures to come.

funny that you should say that about the pigeon Allison.  I was thinking the same thing when they were stooping them.  I thought what if it is someones little girl or boy. or maybe someones mother or father. ::) ::) what a nut case I am. ;D ;D

Fantastic reports and photos, Bev, as always! Thank you for sharing your observations of Cassie and Hope and the whole family with us. Although I feel bad for the pigeon, Cassie should be very proud of herself for her first catch. It is so good that Hope has become part of this family; I think it benefits both her and Cassie.

And doesn't she rightfully look pleased with herself!  Great picture!
It is very cool that we get to see "our" fledgling accomplishing further milestones in her successful juvenile career.  Thanks to you Bev, we have greatly extended our season of suspenseful observation of this family's progress.

Yay, Champion Cassie!  Remember Little Miss' fits if Mom didn't get that food nicely cleaned and beak fed to her?

Lol..I remember when mom first dropped off an unprocessed prey for her and the puzzled look on her little face"... ;D

I too am thrilled with her progress, it makes me optomistic that she will not only survive but we will hear about her again when she finds her own mate and settles down to raise her own family.

I know we always thank you endlessly Bev but really, without your reports we would not be able to share in Cassie's and now Hope's progress and it is so comforting to know and to see how well they are all doing!

What a great lot of stories you have illustrated with your pictures.  Have you entered any of these in TPC's summer contest, Bev?
It's very nice to know the family is together, both learning and playing.  Yay, Champion Cassie!  Remember Little Miss' fits if Mom didn't get that food nicely cleaned and beak fed to her?  What a relief to know these girls are better and better prepared as we approach migration time.
Don't worry, Bev, about the editing.  We can really feel your excitement as you pour out your words describing the action.  Your stories are thrilling!

these are also from Thursday night. Except for the 3rd picture these are all Cassie. she was right across form us but sun was in our eyes . she lands on this building adjacent to Ed building and then sits for awhile and then cat walks and then takes off to the Ed building. The last 2 pictures are of her landing on the Ed building and then going onto roof and sitting looking out.

Thanks Bev.  It was great to see Radisson.  She did look a little ragged so I hope that the weather improves.  Your reports are wonderful.  It must be so exciting to see the girls learning to hunt.  Watch out pigeons ::)

Mom seems to be watching something.  maybe the girls flying.
I went back to edit my first report but cannot. :-[ :-[  That is one thing I wish. that we could modify when needed.  I prefer to post and then modify as I can read it better so there are a few words missing in parts of part one. I think I got to part 2 before the modify net off. I find this frustrating, that I cannot edit at any time.

I hope you can get the idea :) :).

We had a lot of rain yesterday afternoon and it got real cool last night so mom is probably drying off and enjoying  the sun.  I have some pictures of her from yesterday which I will also post later
