I went back to last years threads to look up a good photo Bev put up of the nest box and the building it's on so I could remember where everything is positioned.

Here is the link to take you to that thread, scroll down and you will see the photo with the numbers on it, nestbox is under #3 and you can see the large roof Froona keeps looking down at and get an idea of how things look at the site.

Thanks Eli, very happy to hear that Bev and Peter are taking a well deserved night off and with 4 of you down there - they can relax and not worry about what is going on  ;)

Just got back from my shift at the CSB.  All was well.  This morning, Mr. Yellow took off from his perch on the building behind the CSB, and he and dad flew to the top corner at far end of the CSB, where Mr. Yellow has stayed.  Mr. Red is still on the near corner of the CSB, where he has stayed since his rescue yesterday evening - he has done a lot of wing-flapping and cat-walking, but is staying where he is.  Froona, as usual, has being making a big racket, especially whenever she catches sight of mom or dad; she has been doing lots of wing-flapping today, and boy, does she have a big wing spread.  So far, she is content to make a lot of noise and stay where she is.

This evening, there should be four of us down there on fledge watch.  Bev and Peter are taking a well-earned break for the night, I am happy to say.

Will report again after my evening shift, or tomorrow morning.

Oh look at her, poor girl.  She must see a parent up there, I think Bev said one of them perches up there. She looks so lonely  :-*  Wish one of the boys would go visit her.

It's so amusing to see these two attitude laden lone females remain after their brothers fledge.  So far they have each despite the vocals been good about waiting.
The glimpses of Froona flapping on the edge are reminiscent of Vesper wingercising on the vent cover.  Clever girls to keep themselves safe from unexpected gusts and accidental fledges.

Eli, Peter, and Bev, take care!

My advice, take a breath and don't anticipate bad news, it may come, it may not come or you may not get any news at all (which we count as good news btw).
Excellent advice, TPC! For falcon watching and for life!

Bev, Peter and Eli - Thanks for all your great effort! Don't forget to take care of yourselves while you are taking such good care of the falcon family! :-*

Lol...yup!  Vesper is Froona's auntie.  Can you tell  ;D
No kidding! If Froona is anything like her auntie, you won't need to see her to find her! ::)

Wow!  Sounds like we missed quite an evening.  You guys sure got your exercise.  Is Bev over there now?  What am I saying -- of course she is!  It's going to be a hot one today, so anyone going over, please remember the sunscreen and water.  And shoes to run in because it sounds like you'll need them.

It could be quite interesting tomorrow evening when we're over -- it looks like Black is ready to go.  Still no sign of White?
Hey, Lorac! Welcome to the forum. Nice post.  ;D

It's probably a good thing that she is taking her time. The fledge watch seems to have enough on their hands!!!

Hang in there FROONA!!!

Camera 2 shows that she still has "fluff" on her head as well as still some in her back and wing feathers.  Does this really make a difference in any way when they fledge?

There is just a wee bit left but it's more an visual indicator that she is ready to fledge .  I'm not really sure if biologically it makes a difference at this point as her flight feathers are now in, TPC could say for sure.  Because she is a female and is larger and heavier her muscles take longer to develop and strengthen than the males so it's good she is not in a rush to go.  I'd prefer to see all the fluff gone and I suspect it will be before she goes.

She is certainly looking up at something?  Mom/Dad or maybe a sib?
