Could they move them to a nice 'other' location and would the ravens find them and just take up residence there with the eggs - or is that just completely ridiculous?

Question..
If this happened, the removal of the eggs, would or could they be taken in for someone to incubate them or would/does that not happen?

I got back to her and asked her if the biologists would be willing to remove the nest again as I would rather see the loss of the eggs than see the ravens die, but she has not got back to me yet.

Well, I see there's still nothing visible on Cam 2, and obviously a raven in the nest on Cam 3.  hmmm....

the biologists shared that with me  a bit  ago but I was to keep it to myself.

I am always obligated to follow their instructions as I do not want to loose their trust.

but that is good the rehab center shared that with you.

I was talking to a lady from the Wildlife Rehab. Centre on Sunday about my concerns regarding the ravens and the falcons; she sees the falcon biologists fairly often, and she got back to me this afternoon:

they suspect these ravens are young of last year and that their nest likely won't survive anyways, given their inexperience and the fact that they are nesting pretty late for ravens. So thats why there is not really a drive to put up an alternate platform. I was also told that the peregrines are likely going to make things really unpleasant for the ravens and the situation will likely escalate as the peregrines get more serious about nesting.

Yeah, cam 2 is fairly useless today. 
Mom is restless.  Turning from side to side, sometimes almost standing, maybe another egg coming?

The female in the nest box is very close to the entrance, her head is visible in cam 3 view, with her beak over the ledge in the cam2 view.  I guess she is being watchful.

I cannot see anything in the nestbox tonight - I wish I knew what was happening.

Eli, no one wants to see any harm come to the ravens.  they are after all a part of nature.

 It is just that peregrines are a protected species and I would rather have them nest here , whee they have been for the last 30 years.

I have been watching for them when I go down there. I certainly did not cheer yesterday, when the attack happened. I cringed and had tears in my eyes becasue I do not want to see anyone hurt.

Unless  the falcons decide to come in the box you will see nothing on the cam. It is from the fround that things are happening.

thanks, BCbird.  I think our male raven is made of pretty sturdy stock to have withstood an attack my the falcon and carry on his duties.  I still have hope of some resolution to this worrisome situation.
