Well, our elusive male finally showed up in the nestbox!  I heard alot of noise, and checked, and sure enough, there he was, with his rear end facing the camera - I am pretty sure that was his rear end.  He didn't stay long, and our female took off after him as soon as he left.

Mama is there right now if anyone wants to watch this wonderful camera.

Momma's in there right now digging around the pebbles, looking at the camera, calling out and preening.  I'm looking forward to see some eggs soon.

Well, our male is a shy guy!  The female has tried to encourage him to join her in the nestbox, but so far, he has only tried a few fly-bys, with one quick stop on the outside perch.  I hope we will get a better look at him soon.

hi Eli `wave~!  I'm glad you caught sight of another falcon, I was chatting to mom and turned away and missed it but I did hear her!!  I hope it's the same dad as last year!

She just came back, chupping away, and the other falcon flew up to the nestbox, then left; she then left the nestbox; this all sounded like a happy occasion, so I am pretty sure we will be seeing the two of them together shortly.

Our female was just in the nestbox, chupping away, looking up, then down, when I distinctly heard another falcon; so did she, and she took off like a shot.  I think this might be our elusive male, but until we see the two of them together, it is hard to say with any certainty.

Have you people seen my mate?!!    Mom is in the house!

Our female is back in the nest box, and she sure would like to get her talons into that falcon in the camera; she keeps trying to catch it off its guard, by surprising it with a sudden look, but, alas, this does not work.  In between these sessions, she is busy making a scrape in the box.  Still waiting to see her mate, who I am sure is out there pretty close by.
