The male got up, stood briefly on the perch and then flew off.  He is now back after a few minutes, and is settling over the eggs  again.

The male is still on the eggs, he is loyal and courageous, but he cannot do this by himself, and with no sign of the female, we have to assume she is injured or deceased, as she would never stay away this long.  This is so heart-breaking.  And no word from anyone at Elk River.

There's a bird back on the eggs right now, but I don't know which one it is. Not good at all, though, if mom is missing.

Still no sign of the female.  I have also sent a message to the contact at Elk River.  Things were going so well here.  This is so upsetting.

Dad just got up and left after sitting outside a bit, not a good sign.  Mom where are you  

I've emailed the site to see if anyone is there and can check the grounds for her.

Kitten has just alerted us to the fact that Dad has been on the eggs since last night..no sign of Mom anywhere.

If anyone spots her please let us know as it's worrying to have mom gone for so long

It was down all day yesterday - which sucked as egg 4 was due last night!  Then kitten said she had it up for a few minutes but I got nothing all day.  Hopefully it's something they can fix fast

Is anyone else having trouble finding the birdcam? I keep landing where it used to be, but absolutely no cam or any sign that it was ever there. I gather they were working on something, but don't know if the cam is gone for good, gone for a while, or just hidden where I can't find it.

Was working fine just a minute ago when I tried.  Sometimes they do change the address but we do try to keep it up-to-date on the Cam Link thread.  Click on the link, then on the nestbox image.  Started up right away for me, but she wasn't moving much so it took me a few seconds to realize that it was streaming ....
