Still only 2 eggs. Dot is on the nestbox ledge again. She sure is a beautiful looking bird! :)

If Dot is following TPC's predictions she will be on egg laying duty in another 24 hours.  She does seem happy to hang close to the nestbox between eggs.

Sigh, where would we be without the falcons?

Still only 2 eggs. Dot is off them right now, perched on the nestledge, surveying her kingdom, I imagine. ;) Either that, or waiting to be relieved of egg duty by "?". :)

Dot thought she'd try sitting over the eggs for a bit, but got distracted by nest-cleaning (in a manner reminiscent of good ol' Trey!) and hoovered her way off the eggs.

Now she's sitting in the box, but with her neck stuck out like a vulture so that she has a good view of what's going on outside. Now she's picking at her toes. Is she distracted because she's thinking of laying another egg? Whatever, she's feeling talkative right now!

Two eggs clearly visible this morning as falcon sits serenely on perch, gazing out towards the river (train passing!)

She is looking settled now, Sami, as she sits on the ledge.  There are TWO eggs behind her, clearly seen, at last.

The lighting is sort of weird, but I agree with you, Susha, it looks like there are now two eggs!

She hopped in and inspected the first egg, then had a go at trying hard for another, with fluffing and "crouching" and shuffling, and then checking underneath.
Now she is back on the ledge contemplating life.

The lovely Dot has been hanging about the nest box for most of the afternoon.  She may be coming up to the second egg laying!

Eggs are laid on average about 48 hours apart, so they are doing just fine so far (first egg on the 11th).  Incubation won't start until the penultimate (second last) egg is laid, so y'all will still need to wait a bit longer ...
Thanks for this info, TPC, I just learned 2 new things about peregrine falcons! 8)
