I don't know Liz..I thought for sure there was going to be an egg today because she was sitting in that nestbox looking like, well you know  ::)
Eagle seems to think that she's going to lay her first egg on Thursday!  We'll see  :P

Mom isn't in the nestbox as of 6:00 pm CDST but SOMETHING is there.  At first I thought that it was just a feather blowing in the wind but it is something small and it's head keeps going up and down.  Can anyone with better eyesight make a guess?  Just something to pass the time while we wait, and wait  ;D

I'm wondering if this falcon is going into labour??
A couple of times it just looked like she was but then nothing?
So, I"m not sure..kinda looked like she was going to take a big poop, more than once  :P

Well...it looks like it's another night of staring out into the unknown!
Sometimes I wonder what these raptors are thinking?
Hmmm... let's see here:  "will this light ever shut off so I can stop sitting here staring at it?"   :D

Elk River is back online and Mom is still hanging around in the box.   ;D  Lots of noise and commotion there though.  I have never seen so much steam/smoke discharged from the biomass power station, clouds and clouds for quite some time.   ???

Me too Maggie, I think today will be the day!  She was in there for quite awhile this morning and she looks quite bottom heavy this morning.

O.K. folks, go to Elk River,  Mom crouched in the corner looking like she might be thinking about producing an egg.  :D

Oh darn, sorry for the false alarm, as soon as I posted that she went out on the bar.  I am still thinking that it will be soon though.

this bird is beautiful, maybe wintering in the south, maybe the glow of motherhood (soon to come), but she looks healthy and is quite at home sitting and watching...
