GO chicks!
The two right by the edge are working their way towards the feeding, gaining forward momentum by using a faceplant technique.

The two who are getting something to eat are developing swollen crops, so they are ok.
Thank goodness for the ledge on the nestbox!

I turned away to talk to someone and when I turned back, two chicks were over by the edge. The parent keeps on feeding the other two. Was it the wind?!?

My God, one little chick got blown right over to the edge of the nest - I thought he was going to go over, and my heart dropped.  Now two are at the edge.  They can't find their way back to dad and the food.

Finally feeding time! (As the train goes by.)
The adult falcons are certainly getting buffeted by the winds when they are out on the perches. In the nestbox, their tailfeathers keep getting whipped this way and that.

the wind makes it sound cold, but it's moving up to nearly 33C there today, and is already reporting upper 20's.  Suposed to really cool off tomorrow and be more like 19C for the highs the rest of the week.  tomorrow offers a chance of thunderstorms!  Glad these wee ones have a roof over their heads.  Mom looks peaceful, but then a little noise and she jerks to attentiveness.

A few minutes ago dad had one of those hanging in the wind experiences. It took 3 tries to eventually land on the bar.  The first time that I saw him try I thought that he had food but in the end he didn't bring any food in and after about a minute flew off again.  ???

Oh man, mom has left with the food and didn't feed the little guy.  He/she didn't get any food and also got knocked on its back at one point, little talons waving in the air.  At least it managed to get back up.  :-\ Now an adult is back to cover them up.

There is a feeding underway at Elk River.  One little guy hasn't quite figured out how to get the right way round to get in on it.  Hope he/she figures it out soon.

I haven't seen a feeding this morning but did get a glimpse of the fluff balls. They are being quite vocal.  ;D
Mom and dad will need to be velcroed down on them today as it is very, very windy.  The forecast is for high temperatures and high winds.  This sounds like Manitoba weather, going from frost one day to a heat wave the next.  :D

came in to check, all is well, eggshell bits scattered about, and most importantly...

I turned off the sound.  no early morning wake-up call for me!   8)
