The four chicks had some food: one chick took some food and ran off with it, pursued by another chick who tried to take it.

Awesome...1 femaleand 3 males!!  Send the boys up to Toronto, we need more boys!  I always tune into this site at least once a day just to hear the screaming...honestly I think it's an addiction now  ???

for those who did not see it,

The falcons, born on May 19, were named: Bella (female), Roger, Royal and Edward (males). The Rogers Middle School Environmental Explorers named the birds.

and look!  Three Boys!

good names! love Big Bella (I have a preference for the name Bella, Italian for part of my name), and hope the Roger was named after Federer who I am a big fan of) and pleased they let us know what happened on banding day. They are so big and love the way they are moving around and sleeping laid out with their heads on the ledge looking out. Hoping all fledge and success is enjoyed once more from this site.

The wild bunch are just being fed. Probably not the first meal of the day.  They always sound like they haven't been fed for days.  ::) Yesterday I thought that the adult trying to feed them was going to be pushed right over the edge of the box.  :D

Igor.mom is watching from the far ledge and all the chicks are piling up (though restless) in the far corner.  Which is weird as they could choose to be where the light doesn't shine on them, but glad to see them all healthy and happy nonetheless!

I just saw a poo shot from above; a parent must be on top of the nestbox.  That's probably why big sis is making all the racket.   :D

wow, look at the size of them, after only one day! and Big Sis is much bigger than the others. I've seen a couple of them look down at their band and just stare, funny  :D
