In order to bring a Live Cam Feed to the viewing public some camera work was required…being available to lend a hand for whatever as well watching Eye Spy’s back just in case as he worked his Magic.
Plus having an Supervisor (Pip) show up ensuring everything was being done properly.

It has been a terrifyingly busy IRL (in good ways) over the past 10-12 days! Fortunately absolutely nothing but napping peregrines in the nestbox. 😁  Better now than in a couple/three weeks when we are on the verge of hatches!&

And FalconCam prep is almost done - we have one more thing to test and we'll be able to announce the launch date! And no worries, there will be plenty of time to get thoroughly bored watching paint dry.

How is the incubating going? All covered, all the time?

Was downtown today, just before 10 am, on the fifth floor across Portage from the Radisson. Would have had a great view, if there would have been a bird visible on the edge of the nestbox.

But I thought I saw 3 peregrines flying just a bit south. Two looked to be dodging and diving each other with the 3rd watching from higher up. Anyway, that is what it looked like.

There is a fourth ... but with the cooler weather we haven't gotten much of a look at it!

I'm combing through the recordings to find a shift-change where the eggs are more visible - I'm sure I'll find something, Ella and Pip usually change over relatively frequently.  With the new camera the image should be great but it has a different viewing angle so I'm getting used to how Ella & Pip come and go ...
