Years ago, I used to watch this site. Then, the site no longer worked for me, until this year. I have been seeing pigeons at the nest pretty much every day, but for the last two days, no pigeons, so I thought perhaps someone had returned.
Today, I found a peregrine at the nest. I don't know whether this is Boreas or Nemaha. The bird did not want to show legs or bands. He/she has a pretty solid dark hood.
He/she went into the nest for a minute, and did a little scraping (back view only). Then back up on the ledge into the full glare of the light; it was impossible to read the bands, and immediately the bird was gone.

"The birds were both banded by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service in Omaha, Neb."
They are not from Omaha, but are both offspring of Alley and 19/K in Lincoln. Possibly you might want to let them know?
