Girls are sitting together quietly, chatting about (Nellie's? Cora's?) adventures and speculating about where their brother must be.  Calling parent is still calling, but sounds calm, so Dixon must be okay...I hope...

Portage and Hargrave - think she may have tried a second hop - which could explain why she was okay.  Or maybe not ... She wasn't there when I went by or maybe she was hiding nearby and came out after I went past...

Parents don't seem agitated anymore, but still calling.  Wonder if that means the boy's okay wherever he is... ???
