I'm not sure they will be reusing any of the old links ... from my last conversation it will be something new.  So feel free to keep an eye on the on the old links but keep an eye on the main CBC Manitoba page as I'm sure they will have a story or link there when the cam goes live.

It is 1730h here in Winnipeg, an hour later in Toronto so I don't think it will go live tonight.  And I haven't had an email from the folks at CBC with an update, so I think that means that we are out of luck for today.  Tomorrow is another day ...

No worries, at last count we were still days away from hatching, so we will still have time to watch paint dry before it gets exciting.

We are all set to go on this end for the FalconCam we are just waiting on the tech folks in Toronto to do their thing.  So far so good, no eggshells in sight so we may just slip in under the wire for hatching.

As soon as I know something, you will know something!

Princess napping in the sun just now - yesterday they were panting in the heat, today's temps are much more to her liking

Oh yes, thanks TPC. I was forgetting how far the sun can reach into the box at times! It seems I more often recall how Princess was noticeably affected by the sun on the open ledge.

Hotter for them in the nestbox today because it is west- facing - fortunately temps next week when the eggs hatch are forecast to be much more reasonable though Princess and Smiley will be playing sunshade for the first 10 days at least.

And we have run into a wee connection problem with the webcam - EyeSpy is working on solving it so we are still looking to go live next week- more news as I have it.

Just as a note, we may not have much advance warning - once stuff is in place and CBC is sure all is working well, then the cams could go live very quickly.  I will let folks know as soon as I do!
