Ahhhh - Sounds like the same birdie as yesterday!!!! - Who is it??? - Not even sure it's a Peregrine yet - need Tracy to check in!!  8)

**Shoot, I just read that the CAMS are all down - so Tracy won't be able to identify the Birdie on the West Nest just yet - Will bring my binocs tomorrow and if he/she is there when I switch buses at MTS Centre - will try and get a better look!! :)**

 :) On one hand this is wonderful news. On the other hand, Tracy will be shutting the Forum down (temporarily) tomorrow for maintenance. I will checking frequently in hopes that someone has a positive sighting. I think the first to arrive last year was at the West Winnipeg site, Beatrice????  ;D ;D

I think they were later last year (Good thing, brutal weather) - I remember a March 19th arrival a few years ago - seems a bit early now, but it's getting a lot warmer so who knows! Hopefully Tracey has her CAM on the nest and can have a look, maybe tell us if it was a Peregrine or not - and if so, maybe who is might be?  :)

Anyone out there remember the earliest one of the birds did appear in the spring?  I believe the people who have seen a bird are correct and someone could be back already even if they are just passing through.

Oh exciting! I had a report from someone over at the Hydro building about a week ago that he had seen a falcon fly over the Newport Building and then swoop over Portage Avenue and then the Air Canada Building. So I've been looking. But all I've seen so far is what look like crows sitting on the Hydro letters. I assumed that was what he saw (he vehemently denies it was a crow though). So maybe!

HEY people!!! - There was a BIRDIE sitting on the West Nest Box this morning at 11:50am! Good sized bird, light breast - wish I had my binocs!!  ...... Who could it be?????  :o
