Princess and Smiley are still using the Radisson as their home base. She is actually inside the nestbox for a couple of hours a day, napping and scraping and then she and he visit the nestbox off and on throughout the day and evening (mostly mornings and evenings) and he sleeps, eats, preens on the box edge for hours. All great things to see. And I must admit, it is nice to see them both relax and rested. And while I miss not having chicks at the Radisson to watch, I am glad she didn't renest. I would prefer to see her again next year and I know that with each year, the chance of that decreases.
