But the person holding the camera needs a steady hand with the proper settings and at 500 mm that is not an easy task...nice work RCF  ;)

Yup, that's definitely a 3 & a Y, RCF! And you're right! I think it only makes sense to declare that the bird in your photo must be Hurricane!  :D And a beauty of a photo, I might add!

It says in Dennis's 2008 pics that Max's band number is 26/2, not a Y, maybe a typo?  I couldn't see the number in the photo.

And yes, looking close at your zoomed image, that does look like the top number on the band has "3" for the second digit!
So close to seeing that whole number RCF, I feel your pain ...  :'(
