Looking at feather patterns on the chicks when they were feeding this morning, I think we do have two females and one male, will be interesting to see if we are right tomorrow ...

Eye-Spy will not be joining us on Friday for the banding so it is probable that we will NOT be streaming the banding live to the internet this year.  This is what happens when the birds nest late, it makes it difficult to arrange working schedules ...

I'm just waiting to hear back from one more person to finalize the time but I think that it will be before lunch on Friday ...

Severe Weather Bulletin issued by Environment Canada
at 3:45 PM CDT Tuesday 2 July 2013.

---------------------------------------------------------------------
Watches/warnings in effect for southern Manitoba ... Severe Thunderstorm Watch for:

Brandon - Carberry - Treherne - Dauphin - Roblin - Winnipegosis - Minnedosa - Neepawa - Russell - Riding Mountain National Park - Ste. Rose -
McCreary - Alonsa - Gladstone - Swan River - Duck Mountain - Porcupine Provincial Forest.

Hot and humid conditions have created a favourable environment for slow-moving isolated severe thunderstorms to develop this afternoon. This is an alert to the potential development of severe thunderstorms with large hail and damaging winds.

a hot, humid and unstable airmass over southwestern Manitoba has created an environment for isolated slow-moving severe thunderstorms to develop this afternoon. Conditions are most favourable near higher terrain in western Manitoba. Because the thunderstorms are slow-moving, local amounts of 50 to 100 mm are possible this afternoon. These thunderstorms are expected to weaken this evening.

Just checked in on the McKenzie chicks and had to laugh. They look just like white Easter Peeps, all lined up in the box.  ;D
