Both chicks are still on the ledge - the parents have been by with food a couple of times this morning and the chicks have been playing "king of the drain cover" ... male has been moving about on the ledge edge very comfortably but not alot of wingercizing so far, perhaps a bit too cool this morning to get him interested in flying? At the moment, it almost looks like the male chick is lying down and female is on the drain cover and I would have thought it would be the other way around. Just can't tell by the way they are perched/lying who's who for sure right now.
Winds are from the north and west today which will mean the ledge is more sheltered but they are breezy/gusty and stronger than they have been for the last little while. If the male (or both) were to fledge today, don't know if the wind would play a part, depends which way they go and if they decide to keep moving or just park themselves and wait to try again later.
