Oh what wonderful photos, Dennis!  I really like the ones of the two together.

I agree Cooper, those photos are beautiful. The girls are quite photogenic, but I say that about all the falcons. I am always awed by the beauty of these creatures.  :D

Oh my goodness, today was the first time I looked at Dennis's photos of the West Winnipeg girls. They are gorgeous! Both the girls and the photos. And that is the exact warm golden look I saw at the diner. Of course, any of the juvies would have that colouring which I realized when I also had a peek at the "My day with Fleet" gallery.

I hadn't looked at those photos until today either, largely because I too had spent that same day with Fleet and watched Dennis take the photos. But what wonderful memories were brought back seeing those now.

Thanks Dennis for all of those photos. How fortunate we all are!  :)

Lilith and Juliet have been doing some travelling recently, up to 140 kms away from the hacksite but they are still returning for meals and to hangout regularly.

If you haven't checked out Dennis' photos of the girls, here's the link ...

Can't say if it was actually one of the girls that Cooper saw at the Diner, but travelling 140 kms, could get them within reach.  Chances are however that it was one of the Radisson chicks which I know from McDermot's transmitter have been out that way too ...

Birdy sitting pretty on the diner this morning, tucked in on the R, south side. Looked so golden, I thought it might be a juvenile bird. No time to ogle though as I was in rush hour traffic. Then I realized that it might just be the angle of the sun that gave her/him such a warm colour.

;D ;D  Hi Cooper! Thanks for posting your sighting of our WW juvie. I left Polo Park S.C around 10:30 this morning. Perhaps the falcon was there observing the same thing I saw on Ness. I must have passed through before they closed Ness. Must admit, I was trying to spot a falcon. The following ruined that. ::) >:(

Dennis and I did a little tripping today and we found only one bird on the Diner this morning in the rain and thought by the very black head that it was Beau.  When we went past later both Jules and Beau were sitting on the Dinner together, well about 10 feet apart which is side-by-side for a peregrine.

At last report, Lilith and Juliet were still sticking close to each other and close to the hack site.  Doesn't look like they are being bothered by other raptors which is great news.

Drove by the Diner yesterday about 7:30 pm, the worst of the storm had passed, and saw one falcon.

I'm curious, TPC, would an owl or another raptor be attracted to the quail that is being left at the hack site for "the girls" and could another raptor even access the food? ???

Sorry, meant to let you all know that Lilith and Juliet are both hanging out together (like in Dennis' photos) still and still hanging out close to the hack site which means they are getting still getting fed well and don't seem to be attracting any attention from owls or whatever.  Good news.
