She's sure does get the same kind of dark dark rufous wash as her mother!

Hurricane was having lunch on the McKenzie roof yesterday, then she flew over to the Scotia sign.

I have never seen Hurricane perched here on the Scotia sign, so it's just another hiding spot to check for falcons.  ;)

Sept 21
Hurricane and Brooklyn were at McKenzie Seeds about 0900h on Friday.  She was on the east facing light standard above the clock and he was below her on the roofline at the base of the clock.  Couldn't see/find Hunter or Sol and no one was "talking" so I don't think they were around.  Didn't manage to go back around to check them out later in the day unfortunately ...

Yes, I saw them also and around 6:45am Hurricane put Brooklyn off the east light.  ;D  It was windy later in the day and Hurricane was perched under the black/green ledge on the south side where they sometimes cache food.  Brooklyn was on a window sill on the east side of the Scotia building.  :)  I haven't seen or heard any kids since September 17th.

I only saw Brooklyn and Hurricane today.........didn't see Sol but I did yesterday.  I noticed Brooklyn has that salmon coloured wash on his front, just not as pronounced as Hurricane's.

Always find it interesting that sibs can be so tight with one another and then one day, one has gone off on his/her own.  Rain and Rosser were like that last year and Sol and Hunter seemed like it this year (would you agree RCF?).

Rain and Rosser seemed to be closer like Karma and Kismet from 2009 because we always saw them together.  But yes, Sol and Hunter seem to be close too.  :)

I must admit whenever I spot a new bird who looks young, Karma and Kismet pop into my head.  Don't know why, didn't see as much of them as I have others.  Maybe it's because we know Luck turned up at HSC/CSC the following fall.  Sort of like expecting to hear something about Chinook eventually ....
