I don't have a head for names.  How do you name the ones here in Brando,n TPC?

I don't usually, that belongs to the Brandon gang though I have suggested a couple or if their birds aren't named and they reappear I ask if I can name them <insert name> based on a personality trait or some such ...

Isn't there a Zeus and Hera pair in a nest, probably US?  This is another Zeus, obviously, but it had me confused.

There are a few Zeus - one is in Brandon (and is ours so his name is cool) and one in Omaha, Nebraska and he used to be paired with one of ours, her name was Winnie and she was very productive ... Husker (Red Wing, Minnesota I believe) and Doorly (Topeka, Kansas) are two of her chicks nesting south of us this year.

Well...sometimes no news can be good news.

I guess we will just all have to wait and see if they appear somewhere where one can read their bands.

(Thanks TPC  :D)

So has there been any word on Holly, I/*T, Donna, Obi-Wan, Lucy, Chinook, or Mistral?

Just what I posted earlier ...

I/*T - resident female in Brandon in 2002
Holly - resident female in Brandon from 2004 to 2008 - 10 chicks with Zeus
Donna - offspring of Zeus & Holly - 2008 nested in Saskatoon, not sure about 2009
Terminator - offspring of Zeus & Holly - 2008 & 2009 nesting in Grand Forks - 1 male chick (Ozzie) last year, 2 female (Alice & Ethel) and 1 male (Smiley) this year
Obi-Wan - offspring of Zeus & Holly - spent the summer of 2006 in West Winnipeg with Lucy (2005 Radisson chick) but did not nest

I'm so confused on who is where...I read TPC's post on Zeus and who he's nested with...I got lost after reading more.

So who is where?   ::)

Zeus our resident male in Brandon is back but Holly, our resident female for the last few years (she's Terminator in Grand Forks and Donna in Saskatoon's mom) is not.  The new female appears to be Hurricane ... and that means that Hurricane is a female, not male like we thought when we banded her.  Dan in Brandon remarked that she was a small female, which would explain how a male band would fit on her when male bands aren't suppose to be able to fit on female feet!!!
