(it will be nice to have the names to use as of tomorrow ....)

I second whoever's suggestion it was that our first fledgling (affectionately known as Transmitter boy or GB!)  should get the name Fleet.  Seems appropriate for the first to go!

And on that note, TPC, how do you decide which name goes with who for the 3 males?

9 hours of craning my neck was enough!  Babes are all settled in for a nap, so Linder and I have gone home.

Fledgling on the roof looks to be Yellow!!  He picked his foot up and I could see the tape and at that angle in that light, white would "pop" more, so had to be Yellow.

TB is so close to the cam, you can almost read the word on his backpack.

Liz and Linder have the first four-shot
All four chicks are on the Radisson - two on the ledge, one on the roof edge, one on the sign.
Finally the little roof walker moved far enough away from the camera - just checking now for his "colour" ...

It is nice to hear the good new about having all the chicks around the area of the Raddison now.

Watching RG and TB desperately trying to find shade and a cooler place unsucessfully. Wish there was a way to help. Weather network showing every day hotter than the day before. If they fledge tonight or early tomorrow, they can find the much needed shade in many places. However, DO NOT go into hiding. Make it easy for the much dedicated fledgewatchers to locate you. For those of us unable to join the fledgewatchers, it would be great if we could support them and make a donation so they could have a day for them to have a dinner and maybe a libation I'm in!  ;D ;D

Liz and Linder are still hard at work keeping an eye on the birds - and they may have their eyes on all four chicks.  There is a bird on the top of the wall by the skycam but its tough to know if its an adult or a chick.  I've tried to use the skycam to see, but it just can't see that close.  Having said that, that is the place that Cade used to like to sit last year and I don't recall seeing any adults there - there is a shady spot Cade used to like there.  The adults prefer the towers to the walls, particularly with all the telecommunications equipment along the edge of the roof wall.

Going to keep looking and maybe, just maybe Liz and Linderlou have manage to get our first post-fledging four-shot!  IF they have, it will be two on the ledge (by the ledge-cam), one on the sign below the ledge and one on the roof edge above the ledge - so all four chicks within about 100 feet of the nestbox and 25 feet of each other.

She's just to the left of Green Boy, on the ledge, maryann. She hasn't fledged yet.

Would that be the 'noisemaker' who's been attracting attention from the ledge? Wondering if I missed Jubilee fledging? I walked away for a minute and now no sign of her. Perhaps she wen to the nest box?
See another post slipped in - was wondering about the noise coming from the sign sitter.
