Looks as if RG is on her corner of the nestbox and TB is on the nestledge. Am I right? :-\ I'm thinking that both fledglings must be close to the Radisson tonight. Was driving home from dinner at a friends and took a detour through the downtown around 9:30 PM. Looked as if both parents were perched on different Radisson roof towers.

Managed to get downtown for another 2 hrs of watching. Thought for sure Red was going to fledge. She will go when she is ready. When I got there GingerLee was there and told me she had seen some birdy leave the ledge. We now know it was Yellow. Jazzerkin arrived and we got to watch a parent fly in large circles and entice a fledgling off of where it had settled to join in the flight. Quite interesting to watch as it seemed to be attacking the parent. Thought at the time, the parent might have food and that was why it was chasing. Other than that, not much else to report.
Hope all goes well for the watchers tomorrow and that Red does not have you running all over the place.
Forgot to mention earlier that Dennis was out earlier in the day with Des, Liz and I. We all had a great time looking around for our Bandit Crew.

Just came back from downtown.  Watched one of the "kids" dive bombing a parent for quite a while.  Not sure if the parent had food and the boy was trying to get it away.  Great to watch.  Red gave us some almost heart attacks with her wingersizing.  Thought for sure she was going to go but then back into the nest box again.  Guess she still is not quite ready to join her siblings.

Thanks for the report Jazzerkins. :)

Right now I am watching the perfect picture of Jubilee in the distance on the nest box well the sun is going down in the distance. I hope that she does a fledge tomorrow and if not she will do it when she is ready.

1824h CDT

He runs back and forth looking up the side of the wall probably wondering how he managed to get where he is.  ???  ;D

Speaking of looking up...  so if I happen to be downtown and see people looking up and running like mad, yelling, "I think it's Princess. . . no, maybe it's white. . . oh wait, it's yellow. . . no, green silver. . ." I don't need to be scared. . . I just need to put on sunglasses if I look up too.  :)
This also makes us very easy to spot!!

I think we have one of the fledgees back on the ledge with his sister by the ledgecam ....

Yup, Yellow just dropped in ... literally ... he came down the louvres.  Don't know if he flew in above the cam and then walked/crawled down or if he dropped from the roof above and caught the louvres and then walked/crawled down.

So nice to read that Colonel Mustard made it back to the nest box and that Miss Scarlett remains put.
Sorry for not showing up for fledge watch today, but 3 days there at 5 am, plus work, going back at night and 8 hours on Saturday kind of tuckered me out.
But I'll be there tomorrow at 5 and will give you all an update around 6am.
BCCS I don't think you have anything to apologize for.  You have done some much
already and have earned a much deserved day off!
Thanks Pense, I got caught up on some necessary house work, now all my time is for the birdies.

Don't hope she goes tonight if she's not ready craqers, we'd hate for her to get in trouble on her first flight ...  :'(
Females always fledge after their male siblings, so she's not lagging behind any.  :)

Sorry, I didn't mean for it to come out the way it may have. I understand if she's not ready then it's best she not go. I wouldn't want anything to happen to her. I just don't want to miss it.

I don't blame you. I know how you feel because I have missed her brothers take off and had to watch it on youtube after it was posted.

Well now, I have a bit of a dilemma here. I really really want to see Red Girl fledge but she needs to do it tonight. Calling in sick tomorrow to see a peregrine fledge. . . I just don't think the boss would understand.

Come on girl. . . you can do it!!

Thank you for the information on why she is the last one to leave the nest.
