I only saw Princess and Ivey this morning just after 10am, they were circling the roof of the Radisson and squawking at somebody. Could have been workers on the roof. Had a look around for the kids, but so windy out there I was not surprised when none of them were in sight. I checked again when I left downtown around 4pm but no one in sight again.

That was me last year.  Walking down Portage and down comes a wing.  Actually it was hilarious. :-*

The ledge is looking much better; I wonder who cleaned up?  I passed a body part on Portage this afternoon and knew exactly where it came from! lol

I'd say that Mother Nature is to thank for that west wind. Right now it's 43km/h with guest to 54km/h  :o

The ledge sure does look clear . .. . . hope not to many passerby's were hit with flying dead stuff  :-X
I am having a bad picture in my head right now lol. I hope no one was hit either because I could see people freaking out if they did get hit by a dead bird part.

I didn't go early today to check. Sorry.

But if you all want, I'll go early tomorrow morning and have a good look around. I know a few spots that she might be at and it will be easier looking when there are not so many people up and about.
Not much point right now, It's extremely windy out there and I would suppose that all of the kids, if they are as smart as they've demonstrated so far, are laying low.
Thank you, that would be awesome. It would be nice to hear that things are good with Jubilee and maybe put alot of us at ease.

From what I have read, no one knows if Jubilee is o.k., or not.  I hope she is not stuck someplace where she cannot get out, or where her parents cannot feed her.  It would be really nice if we had a sighting of her.

No news is good news. Remember Hurricane (fledged 2007) was only seen for a couple of days and then was never seen until the Spring of 2009 in Grand Forks and then a few weeks later turned up with Zeus at the McKenzie building and has been the resident female since. This is her 4th year with chicks. :)

I have confidence in all of these kids.  I know that bad things can still happen ( :-X) but so far, all four have demonstrated stellar flying abilities and are all so quick to learn what they need to in order to survive this brutal world!  I sure hope we see all of them back at home for awhile :)

I want to agree with you Susha (knock on wood) but I'm going to wait a couple more weeks before I say anything "out loud"  ;)

Throughout the years, I have placed my trust with TPC. When there is a need to know, she will always inphorm her phorum.  :-X

I have been wondering the same thing.  TPC posted info about the other 3 but no mention of Jubilee.

From what I remember about fledglings in the first week, TPC has said no news is good news.  So I am taking this as Jubilee is out and about doing what fledglings do best.  If a mishap had happened, we would have been told as the Wildlife Rescue would have been notified by whomever had found her.

I also remember TPC also saying something like that to. I know she will be flying alittle bit lower then her brothers because of the size of her. It will also take her awhile to get to the height that her parents and brothers are at.
