Still only 3 chicks? I thought for sure there would be another hatch in the night.

:) :-* "Happy Mumbrella Day", Princess. She is hunkered down, getting her much needed rest. Will we see the last chick pop out today bringing the Royals up to a family of six?  ???

;) Princess is busy shuffling around the little flufflings this morning.  One egg is still intact but looks like it may have a pip on one end.  Happy Mother's Day Princess and everyone else whoever had and/or was/is a mother! :D

Good to know that the little flufflings will get a "midnight" snack!  Perhaps a fourth fluffling will join them!
Goodnite flufflings and Princess too.  Ivy keep watch over your little family.
Goodnite all. ;)

:D  And it is feeding time for the little flufflings!  Perhaps the last one of the evening.  Do they get fed through the night too?  Or do they just stay tucked in?  The #4 eyas will likely hatch by morning. :D

They do get fed at night at least once ... or at least with Ivy around they seem to.  Because the wind isn't blowing great gusto, the sky-cam should be steady enough to catch site of Ivy coming in with treats in the dark ... will check the recorder tomorrow to see if he did ...

I can only see a blurry image, but it's either another feeding or a hatch.  I'm guessing a late night snack.  I can just see an focused white spot moving up and down........
ok now the light is Really gone.  Goodnight phanatics.

...it would be nice if they would correct the times the chicks hatched, but that's relatively minor.

Its nice to get the coverage, but it would be nice to get the facts right too.  The story was put together by someone in Saskatchewan so to be fair, they don't know all the details about our birds (yet).

Well that's interesting to hear that the story was put together by a Saskatchewan correspondent... When I was out driving around attending to a few errands this afternoon, I happened to turn on the radio and heard a Winnipeg CBC news item about the Radisson peregrine falcons at 1:00 PM. The news anchor reported that only 2 chicks had hatched, both around 9:30 AM and I remember thinking that I wish that they had checked with the Manitoba Falcon Cam Forum for the correct facts. ::) Oh well, I guess they have the correct facts now. ;)

I am just absolutely over the moon that I did see the third hatch this morning after I posted that.  I really think that the more people who know about the peregrine program the better it is!!
Quite right!  :D
