TPC, I really hope you are wrong about them possibly fledging towards the end of this week as I am going out of town for the weekend and really, really want to be involved in Fledgewatch again this year.  So, please, just tell them to wait a bit.  I am sure they will listen to you! :)

It wouldn't surprise me if they fledge pdq.  In the past when birds have hopped down to the ledge it has taken them hours to figure out how to do it - not this bunch, they are hopping up, over, down and back up again with little problem.  Now it may just be a couple of the birds, but the one I saw just a couple of minutes ago, looked like a pro and we know yesterday was their first ledge foray ... so wow ... I really hope they are as good at fledging (knock on wood)!!

One of the boys looks like he's seriously thinking of it.  Wing stretching, figuring it out, and dangerously close to saying see ya! :o

Yikes! Heart attack moment!  One birdie sitting facing forward on the edge twisted it's head under its wing to preen and just about lost it's balance.  Major WHOA moment... for birdie and me!  :o

...I think it's a fledge watch, not walk - anyway, from what I've heard, it's more of a fledge run, when they start taking off... ;D

Hello Tracy,
I would like to be on the Fledge Walk. I am available in July almost anytime.

Thank you to everyone whose comments have helped me keep up with all the falcon happenings.

Am quite busy at the moment, so it's super to get it all first hand from all of you.  :-*

I've been checking in a few times before I head off to work, where I won't be able to see the cam.  Each time I've looked, i see only three of the kids ???  Is the fourth inside or on the ledge or...?

Food arrived. TPC changed the camera view. We got an extreme close-up of two eating dinner.

One said "Someone's watching me" and dragged the food just out of view.

Slightly off-topic at the moment, but we hope to have the banding video for everyone soon, it has been converted to video but the audio is missing now, so we'll try again and get it up asap.

Rain dance!  We all need to do a rain dance!  I know we've had WAYYYY too much rain, but in the next couples of days I wouldn't complain, just for the sake of falcons who are not ready to fly (or rather, admirers who are not ready to let them go!). ;D
Oh so true.  We are not ready to let them go yet!  Hang in there kids, patience is a virtue.

OK Red, Yellow, White and Silver/Green... I have to leave for awhile, my garden is in desperate need of weeding... so listen up... STAY PUT!  You hear me?  Nobody is to do anything silly this evening.  And by the way, just a few more posts an I too will be a Fledgling, so I think you need to wait for me to catch up, 'K?

Glad we had this little talk.   ;D

They were all back in the box at one point this afternoon.

Excellent!!!  (darn meetings  ;))
Fewer and fewer hurdles to leap over now ....

And there they all are back in the box and it's sunny, wonderful!
