My preference would be organic cotton in the natural colour, long sleeves. Can't wait to see the design! Still interested in the stamps, as well. :)

Personally, I'm fine with the original cotton - like the weight. would prefer natural, but if white is all that's available , that's okay, too. I like both short and long sleeves, women's sizes.
I agree with Sami - I liked the weight from last year and would prefer natural.  But if white is all that is available I would also be okay with that.

Thanks Sami - and yes, in the women's sizes in the original cotton shirt, it only comes in white in short and long-sleeved.

I've been looking at the other colours in the women's size/style and the only one that might work with the 1-colour design is "sport grey" but it looks too dark - when I visit with the printer tomorrow, I'll see if I can get a look at the "sport grey" just in case its not as dark as the online swatch appears, if only to give folks who want the women's size/style another colour option to choose from!

Also ...

The design was initially designed as full-colour on "natural".  However, the design is much clearer and frankly looks better as a single colour (black) so we are considering going with the one-colour rather than the full-colour because as clear as it looks on the computer, it won't look as precise once its printed and as past years have shown, the simpler the design the better it looks on the shirt.

I am going to see about getting the image printed on white and on natural to see how they look - I'm concerned the white will be too stark and many folks prefer not to have white teeshirts these days.  I might be able to mix and match shirt types but I don't know that for sure, will let folks know if I can and folks are interested in white shirts.

I should say that I'm leaning toward the organic cotton because I can get the most sizes in "natural", but I don't know how much lighter 8.3 oz is and I don't want to offer a shirt that is too lightweight to last ...

Okay, got all the numbers from the printer today and have done a little crunching and I have some questions for folks ...

  • Type - the same previous years (10.1 oz, 100% cotton) or organic (8.3 oz, 100% certified organic cotton)
  • Sizes - unisex, women's and youth sizes in most styles.
  • Style - long-sleeve and short-sleeve
short-sleeve - unisex, women's, youth & toddler for last year's type; same but no toddler for the organic
long-sleeve - unisex, women's & youth in last year's type; only unisex in the organic
  • Colour - white is the only colour that applies to all types, sizes and styles, some are also available in "natural" however.

SO, with all this information, I'm interested in what styles, sizes and types of shirts folks are interested in.

Nope, not on the backburner, waiting for the quote from Canada Post ... hopefully this week I'll have their answer and I can get that going as well!

Waiting for final numbers for printing early next week.  I'm hoping the prices will be about the same as last year so I don't have to make any changes in the price.  I do know that the colour I need is not available in all the styles (unisex/men, women, youth & toddler) so there may be a colour choice for folks.

Yes on the teeshirts and calendars - news posted next week when I have the pages in/on the online store updated with all the photos etc.

As for pins, I'm hoping to have some of the choices available for special orders available then as well.

I'd love a long-sleeve in the natural colour as well as a short-sleeve and am eagerly anticipating the new design :)

I would also buy stamps as I do use snail-mail occasionally and like to have stamps on hand.

I am interested in purchasing long-sleeved natural color.  Would likely purchase the short sleeved version as well.

I would love a long sleeved "T" in the natural colour. And, YES, I would love to buy stamps, too. I still use stamps when mailing out birthday, sympathy, Christmas cards, etc. and my husband uses stamps all the time for his business. We would certainly buy stamps and especially if it supports the PF Recovery Project. :D
