0730h

Only one chick can I see at the moment and I'm afraid I can't quite tell who it is.  They are parked on the plywood on their belly napping in the early morning sun.  Usually the other chick is just below but its a spot we can't see with the camera ....

both chicks bedded down for the night about 2145h and stayed there until the first left at 050045h this morning, followed 1 minuted 59 seconds later by the second.  Too dim at that time of the morning to be able to tell who was who I'm afraid.  Can't tell for sure, but may have been a breakfast drop that got them up and moving, found some prey remains that weren't there last night ...

Great captures! Love the one of the chick in flight.  My timing has been off and haven't seen much live action on the roof top this weekend.

They sure seem to be loving all the amenities on the roof top. . . the gardens, the lake and now the sky light. 8) Next you'll be telling us they have a mini-bar with a vast selection of shore birds.lol

And if they're going to be a handful when they fledge - extra watchers will no doubt be useful. Seriously thinking of a road trip out Brandon way at fledge time (but only if they don't pick the weekend - I'm already overbooked!) Anyone else interested?
They are going to be just fine Sami there are no tall buildings like Winnipeg and lots of clear air space and the Brandon stats for fledging are very good, I think TPC said there has been only two fledge losses over the years that the program has been in place and most years there were no watchers and probably only random checks. However we would be very glad to see you and get caught up with what everyone has been up to.

2107h
Have put the camera back to the corner garden since that seems to be where they prefer to sleep at night.  We are less than an hour from sunset, so I'm signing off now ...

And the kids will be out of there at first light.

Just love all the screenshots of these guys today!  Can't believe that airborne one!  And TPC, your picture on the nest box table is way cute.  I mean way fiercely cute!   ;D

You are very welcome Leana, don't get to visit with Rain and Rosser much right now because of the Radisson fledge.
And you are right, that "getting air" shot of RCF's is great isn't it - I know I wouldn't have caught it, not quick enough on the print button these days ...

I was about to say that everyone appears to be settling in for the night but no, the Brandon boys are hanging out on the skylights ... these two are going to be a handful when they fledge.  I think they'll be incident free but crazy to keep track of ...  ::)
