Hurricane just came back ,got a good look at new chick it seems pretty active and starting to dry off. That's two for me  and this one was the clearest. I was like moka, I was looking at the Radisson cam and just got back to see the half shell and the chick lying in front of other chicks and mom feeding them. I saw new chick kicking and trying to turn over, could even see chick breathing. :)

Just had time to read the Radisson blog and checked in with the change of parents, the wet chick is lying between two pieces of eggshell!

We have our last hatch at 6:38.  :)

Yeah  ;D ;D ;D

Will be posting video of the hatches this weekend ... when I get a bit of free time  :-\

Free time? is that allowed? Poor tpc, don't know how you do it. You have seven chicks, so far, to look after. ;)

Moka you commented on the drama in the wild......aren't we lucky to be watching this so we know what actually happens in the wild.  Such an education.......Thanks to all for this opportunity!

That "shuggle" the new chicks get must be something like the towel rub our newborn babies get in hospital to stimulate  breathing..........probably makes them angry ;D

Just tuned in and WOW ::)  Haven't seen one so newly hatched for this length of time.  So happy to see it wiggling its wings and legs as it is trying to turn over.  Oh Boy I can stretch!!!!!! ;)

tpc, I have a question. Hurricane seems to eat a lot of the prey... is this normal? Maybe she is trying to make bite size pieces.

The newest chick tried to sit up and fell face forward and is now lying on his back. He is still wet from hatching.

He makes his siblings look big. These birds grow at an amazing pace.

Hurricane flew off with the food but Brooklyn cam in to sit on his babies. I was starting to worry about the newsest hatchling catching cold. but all is well! Such drama in the wild :o
