I'm really surprised that the birds are never (okay, rarely) on the Scotia Building -- wouldn't that seem to be a good place for them?

Actually, I do see them on the Scotia building quite often, just very rarely on the letter S. Hurricanes last mate in 2009 Zeus, perched on the letter S all the time.

Maybe they found better interest rates at the other banks 
But yes...interesting how they pick their spots!

The other kid was in Hurricanes spot at the bottom of the clock tower while his brother was chasing pigeons or whatever he was chasing.  Since he was in Mom's spot, Hurricane was on letter S on the Scotia building. I'll say it again, never ever see a birdie there until the last two days.

I watch one of kids chasing pigeons this afternoon (think it was Rosser) and of course I was taking pictures.  I didn't realize until I got home and looked at my pictures that he had caught something.

Yesterday I caught one of the boys perched on the letter S on the Scotia building. The last time I saw a peregrine perched on it was very early last spring. The year before that Zeus used to perch on it and lay in wait for the pigeons, then make surprise attacks .
