Bit of a glare on the camera lens - or perhaps its a bit of condensation as we are finally having warm air temps ... but I'm going to leave it on since the chicks are being just so darn cute today ...

Hurricane and the kids are enjoying the morning sun in the nestbox ... the ids are sitting up and talking to one another and hurricane is looks to the north east , then she tries to corral a wandering (can't wander far  ::)) chick, then a little Mumbrella action ... a yell at the camera(s), yell at Brooklyn who I think is on one of the overhead lights ... wandering chick trying to escape, faceplants, moment to recover, then back to his/her feet, a tender moment with Mom and now looking around for his/her sib (who is behind Hurricane), now wanderer is trying to find way around Mom, ... nice shoulder check chickie, Mom has had to move and now chick 1 is peering at chick 2 under Mom's wing ... peek-a-boo, where are you? ... repeat ...

These two just got fed at 815 and again at 850. The one chick looking this way looks like it's saying "No More, can't eat another bite"

Appreciate the details and the pictures :)

Ditto.  Great to see the neon bib vs the dark beauty.

Hurricane just took out the dead chick...
I was wondering when she was going to do that. When I looked at the webcam this morning with my Kinderchicklets, I could see it was still there and I didn't really want to say anything, except that one of them asked me about it. When I looked again later this afternoon, it was still there. I'm glad she finally was able to remove it, for a variety of reasons, the first being that my Kinderchicklets were feeling pretty sad about seeing it. :'(

Hurricane just took out the dead chick. She couldn't have taken it very far, she was only gone maybe 30 to 40 seconds.
