I was in Brandon today and took some photos of our falcon family.

Just a note to say that the brandon cam started to freeze June 19th, and would freeze for quite long periods making watching difficult (see posts starting on the 19th).

Yeah, I know about the freezing -- encountered it myself several times. I thought it was interesting, though, that people represented in the CBC comments were much slower to yell and scream about CBC (compared to last year) -- and there are a few posters on that site who are not slow to scream! Nice to see a little less hysteria!

I haven't checked the Brandon cam today yet, since I'm still at work, but did take a minute to look at some of the CBC site comments. Something struck me as kind of interesting . . . last year, when we were having all the problems with the cam, people were totally up in arms about CBC and extremely critical. This year, though, I noticed one post from someone named "Karihari" suggesting that people could comment or complain to CBC, and the response was overwhelmingly thumbs down. Apparently people are much more satisified with CBC this year!

These guys are definitely at the adorable stage and what's even cuter is that the bigger one actually seems protective of the smaller one, always covering him/her.  It's just so darn cute to watch!

Amazing to see how these chicks have grown!!!   With only two chicks they have managed to make quite a "large" chick pile.  Camera working this morning.

Brandon webcam is working for me this evening. Boy, are those 2 chicks getting big. I wonder when the banding will be?

My internet connection is a bit slow (I'm not at home) so I'm afraid I can't tell whether the cam is running smoothly at the moment or not.  I have passed along all the information folks have posted and times to CBC to backtrack the problem.  I hope that we can have an idea where the problem soon and then how we fix it shortly there after.
