Just had a little thunder storm, lots of flash boom and a little rain, looks like we are in for more a little later, the chicks are fast asleep and probably never heard it. ::)

looks like it's raining in Brandon so maybe the chicks will get a break from the heat...hopefully not too much rain though

Kids have given in to the heat and are having a nap resting their heads on the box frame.  Nice soft pillow!! ;D

Wow.............these guys have grown since last night!!   So cute to watch as they sit with their stomach resting on their feet and letting those heavy wings just sag to the ground ;D  Guess when the muscles get built up it will be easier for them to keep the wings in place.

After a morning snack provided by Brooklyn (I'm fairly certain it was Dad), the chicks spent some time watching the sky.  I'm guessing Mom or Dad must have been flying around the way the chicks heads were moving back and forth.  Here's a cute snapshot.

We will be banding the chicks on Monday, June 27th at 12 noon or shortly thereafter, as we do have some extra prep work to do this year.

Larry will be filming it so it will go live to the internet and yes, we will post it to YouTube as soon as we can get it converted - shouldn't take as long as the Radisson version since now we know what we are doing but no guarantees!
