Are we donating for a box?
i am waiting to hear.
Seems to me that the Kinderchicklet fundraising campaign was earmarked for a Brandon nestbox this year. At least, that was the last thing I heard.
Top priority for this year is replacing the Brandon wall-box - we hope to add a couple more boxes in other locations as well, so donations this year will all be contributing to them. We have a couple more boxes after that we'd like to install but we will probably need to go through some extra hoops, so likely not this fall for those ones but maybe before the birds return or next summer - so lots of boxes to contribute to
Just as an FYI - boxes run about $500 a piece so long as they don't have to be customized on-site which of course pops up the costs involved.
