Briefly, a second Royal flew onto the ledge, exchange of words and flew away. Within two minutes, our overnight bird followed. Have a great day Royals.  :-*

A beautiful silhouette of one of our Royals sitting on the edge of the nestbox. In about 20 minutes, on schedule, (s)he will take flight for the day. When the cam shuts down, my morning coffee will not be the same. :(

The fledglings are fully grown so there wont be any size difference (or much anyway) between the adults and chicks.

Yah, must be hot.  Bea didnt even go down into the nestbox.  There must be no breeze getting in there.  She is on the ledge beside the box.

still no cade?? awwe, its very hot there though,, no? Hopefully they are all off snoozin in a cool spot. Nice view of the city there right now. Cant see a birdie in sight. Awwe hope to see them a bit more before they move on with there lives. I love them all so much!

Well it is bedtime for this gal.  Had a wonderful rain storm today, the air is cooling off.  I guess Cade isnt coming tonite. :-\

I believe you are right.  I was just thinking that he should have been banded with a Lady Gaga watch so he could tell what time to be in bed for the night!! :D ;D

Bea still on the ledge.  Looks like she is giving Cade lots of room to land on the nest box.  Now we just wait to see if he shows up.   :D

Ah, thanks, RG, I thought it was Cade. :-[ I'm really not very good at identifying the birds except for comparing sizes. ::) Didn't realize Bea usually comes home for the night before Cade.
