Nice that you give us the blow by blow TPC :-*, but I (and I'm sure that I speak for dozens of others) are anxiously waiting for the day that we can see for ourselves.
Yup!

1630 hrs

Its warm in the box, so much so that Princess has her head in the shade and she's playing umbrella for the eggs.  She's half-standing with her wings down so that eggs are shaded and she can keep a breeze blowing through/across.  She's been panting abit as well.

0900 hrs

All quiet in the box this morning, Princess is on the eggs with her back is to the cameras and her head is down and dead to the world (figuratively speaking).  There are still four eggs and we aren't expecting more - she had a little houseclean amongst the pebbles around her and she got off the eggs enough to count them all easily.  Haven't seen Ivy so far today.

1351 hrs local

Princess is still on the eggs, but I suspect she's wanting a shift change ... more than suspect, she jumped off the eggs as I typed 17 words of this post.  Eggs are uncovered and just on the edge of the shade - the sun is swinging around to the west side of the Hotel and is almost at the eggs now.  She'd been looking around at something outside of camera range and considering how long she's been on the eggs, could be a meal, could just be a stretch of the wings flight or it could be shift change .... and its now 1356 hrs and Ivy is on the eggs, head undercover, tail feathers sticking just a wee bit out (nice to be that small thinks Princess).  He's a sucker for staying cool and dry in the nestbox - remember last year when it was raining like crazy and there he was with three 3/4 grown kids all undercover in the nestbox. Okay, 1358 hrs and Ivy has turned himself around so he can look out.  Had a buzz around with the skycam and couldn't see her, so she's somewhere just out of range taking a break or dining ...

1030 hrs

Ivy was on the eggs a wee bit ago but now Princess is back ... think she had something to eat while she was away ... there is a feather hanging out of her mouth . :D  All is very very quiet in the box.  She's totally zonked out, eyes closed, beak practically in the gravel and she's tucked right into the box and facing slightly away from the "outdoors" and she seems totally oblivious to anything going on outside.  Seems to be very quiet outside the box as well as she's not getting woken up and Ivy hasn't been checking up on her.

Its suppose to go to 17C today so they (the adults) should be able to have a nice nap in the sun this afternoon.  That gravel has to be chilly to lie on at night and in the early mornings.  It felt like -5C at 5 am this morning (brrr).  Right now its 9C so its definitely getting warmer out there.

Webcam will go live 7-10 days before hatch, hope to have a confirmed launch date for everyone this week.  And Eye-Spy has done a wonderful job with the cameras - we have two new views this year and they are wonderful!

That sounds wonderful! Thank you Eye-Spy! What a great team you guys make with Dennis included of course!

Just to get back on topic ...

Hey Shoechick, welcome back - and yes, Princess and Ivy are the resident pair at the Radisson again this year and yes, they began incubating on Thursday and laid their fourth egg (and hopefully last egg) on Friday.  Hatch should be just be the Victoria Day Weekend or just before.  Webcam will go live 7-10 days before hatch, hope to have a confirmed launch date for everyone this week.  And Eye-Spy has done a wonderful job with the cameras - we have two new views this year and they are wonderful!

Could someone please confirm for me that:
1)  We have 4 eggs at the Radisson (!!!!!!)
2)  Princess & Ivy are the parents

Hello everyone,

I've been away and am just trying to catch up on all the news.

Could someone please confirm for me that:

1)  We have 4 eggs at the Radisson (!!!!!!)
2)  Princess & Ivy are the parents

Did I read that correctly?  I've been speed reading as much as I can today so I may be wrong.  Hope not though!

Notice that I messed up my last post - clearly have spent too much time away if I can't even remember how to post properly LOL!

was going to call the egg Nancy, but Esmerelda seemed more dignified (eggs always look dignified) and bonus, it started with an "e"

"ER" would have worked  :P

Yikes......
When your mother is your grandmother.....
And your father is your brother.....
And you are your own nephew or niece.....
And everyone is a cousin.....
That's just messed up !

( can you hear banjos ? )

Maybe DDT wasn't the reason.

I think it just means you're a Cajun.....

was going to call the egg Nancy to make "it" unique, but Esmerelda started with an "e"

1530 hrs
Ivy is on the eggs at the moment but they have been trading off about every 2-3 hours all day.  Lots of sleeping today.  Not surprising its cool, damp and a bit windy out there!

Just wondering TPC........have there ever been years when the young'uns were all the same sex?

Yes - first wild nest in 1989 was all males.  Lost two of them, never heard anything about the third and T-Rex was the father of Trey ...
