A couple of hours ago, Princess called, Ivy answered and soon arrived.  I heard him flap and land but he didn't come into the box for shift duty.  Maybe he has been told to stay near home tonight.

I have not been able to watch much today. On the CBC site they are saying that Ivy has not been taking his turn on the eggs.  Is this true?  They seem to think Ivy is missing.  Who ever is on the eggs now is very restless. His/her back is to the camera.  Maybe something is happening.  I have to go out for a little while now.  Maybe when I get home I will read here that we have our first chick.  Just saw 3 eggs from the back.

Every few minutes she changes position. Stands up, turns at least 90 degrees, shifts the eggs and attempts to cover them. As well, she looks as though she hears something(one). Right now, she seems to be looking at me????? Duh!
